Program Director

------------------------------

Shay Glover holds a Bachelor of Science from the College of Education and Human Development, a Master of Science from the College of Health Professions, and a Master of Education from the College of Counseling and Development. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. Her passion for developing an organization benefiting students with disabilities and those who learn differently was prompted through involvement in education and healthcare. Witnessing her biological and adopted brothers struggle in the public and private education system, in company with exposure to student academic and life skill development failure in day treatment programs, the urgency to inaugurate Spectrum Empowered was prompted.

Shay has worked alongside occupational therapist (OT), Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), physical therapist (PT), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), teachers, parents, advocates, and more to help advance student learning opportunities. Shay is passionate about serving and offering a challenging environment for students with learning disabilities around the spectrum. She is determined to eliminate learning inequality for learners with disabilities by providing a program designed to unlock student learning potential through learning enrichment, therapeutic intervention, and life skill development. Our Founder and Program Director, Shay Glover is confident students at Spectrum Empowered will progress beyond the perceived limits as we voice our unshakeable commitment to Change the Pattern, Impact the World.
