Empowering Learner Evolution
Life-Skill Program
Each program at Spectrum Empowered will consist of basic life-skills and receptive learning development. The Life-Skills Program will allow learners to primarily focus on maladaptive behavior reduction through development and engagement in activities of daily living (ADL). This will support with home and community based independence development through social skills training, coping skill practice strategies, toilet training, feeding therapy, and MORE.
Early Learning Program
Each curriculum at Spectrum Empowered will consist of basic life-skills and early learning development, the Early Learning Program will allow learners to primarily focus on classroom readiness skills and enrichment to obtain a diploma prepared to attend a university college, community college, technical college, online college, or other career aspirations.
Therapy Program
In addition to the recommended Spectrum Empowered programming curriculum, learners will attend daily therapy sessions. These may include, Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy (ABA), Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Music Therapy, and Play Therapy. Through each of these therapies, learners will be challenged to expand their learner skill sets through ongoing practice until mastery criteria is met. Enrollment in our therapy program allows for us to best serve your child and meet his or her needs. This service is covered by medical insurance and will be further discussed during the parent interest meeting. Currently we are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield & Aetna Commercial.
Vocational Program
In addition to each learner’s recommended program, at the age of 15, teens will have the option to begin career exploration. This area of programming will primarily focus on discovering potential career interest for the learner. Each teen will engage in opportunities specific to their prospective career goals though job training preparation opportunities and more. We want our learners to function at their highest level of independence.
